This is my man Alex Young, who smashed up London with his new AKA show.
He has a scary amount of talent, and is one of the few people I know that I regard as a true artist, you know the kind of person who has given every aspect of their life over to what they believe in. Despite the grind, the chore and the highs he remains the funniest fucker I have ever met….
I agree with Kev in every way on this. Alex is the best artist I have ever met, and I think the best artist in the world. He is amazing, and so intelligent. I used to love to just sit and listen to Kev and Al natter away, about painters, illustrators, comic books, films….everything. These two have taught me so much, I love ‘em.
Anyhoo, Al pal is like my big annoying brother who is also a complete and utter dick despite me loving him to pieces, so I’m going to stop being nice. But you should go see his show cos it is good.
Oh, and that paintings wonky. SORT IT OUT!!
